Yummy avocado toast and almond butter banana toast.

I am fully aware of how cliché this post is, but I had to share my favorite variations of toast with you guys. Fancy toast is very ~trendy~ right now, but there's a reason—it is seriously so good! There's something about heating up bread until it's nice and crisp that makes it so much better. I don't know why, but I am a fan.

These recipes are super simple, but I included instructions just in case you're a first time maker of fancy toast. For the avocado toast, I sometimes add cilantro, red pepper flakes and other seasonings, so feel free to mix it up and add your own flavors. Enjoy!
Avocado Toast: Ingredients
1 slice whole wheat bread
1/2 avocado
1 tomato slice
1 egg
salt and pepper to taste
Instructions
Pop the slice of bread in the toaster. While the bread is toasting, cook one egg over easy.
Crush and spread avocado onto toast. Top with tomato slice, cooked egg and salt and pepper. Serve immediately.

Almond Butter Banana Toast: Ingredients
1 slice whole wheat bread
1 banana
1 tbsp almond butter
honey
cinnamon
Instructions
Pop the slice of bread in the toaster. While the bread is toasting, slice banana into 8-9 pieces.
Spread almond butter on toast, top with bananas, drizzle with honey and sprinkle with cinnamon. Serve immediately.
